Kuppam Green comes from the Andhra Pradesh region of South India and is one of the better known “green” granites exported to the United States for use in memorials, a deep, near-black green base rock with dark mineral markings visible on the polished surface. It is a more dense stone than a number of the lighter hues in our catalog, making it ideal for outdoor cemetery use in a variety of US climates.
The wide double tablet face of Kuppam Green provides a very nice, but less formal alternative to black for families who wish to have a darker stone, but not a purely traditional one. The green tone is also prominent in areas of the cemetery which are entirely black and grey granite, a feature that some of our dealer partners have featured in showroom comparisons.
Kuppam Green is quarried and fabricated at our own works and supplied blank for local engraving or pre-engraved upon request and is often used in mixed-container wholesale orders with our black and grey granite ranges.
